New Roommate

Our journey into the paranormal world of spirits has been fascinating and filled with intriguing discoveries. Recently, my wife and I noticed some captivating activity in our home, sparking our curiosity. The convenience of conducting investigations right in our own home is a unique aspect of our experiences.

It started when she noticed noises in the house when there should have been none. Because of that, we decided to place a few ghost balls around the house. These ghost balls, which are essentially cat toys that light up when disturbed, serve as our paranormal detectors. I placed one on the dresser next to my bed. A few nights later, at 1:00 am, I awoke to the lights flashing away. After a minute or so, it stopped, only to begin again. There were no vibrations, and nothing moved the ball.

One of the most surprising incidents occurred in our bathroom, where we have a window with blinds. One morning, I was taken aback to find the wand that opens and closes the blinds placed neatly between the toilet seat and the toilet tank. When I asked my wife if she had done it, her answer was a resounding 'No.' I replaced it in the window and since then, the wand has remained in its place, a constant reminder of the unexpected nature of our experiences.

I travel often for work and recently was out of town when my wife sent me a text saying that the shower in our bathroom stopped working. She was getting ready to wash her hair when the shower just stopped. The water was still on. All other faucets worked. She checked around the house for leaks and didn't see anything. A button on our shower head turns the water on and off. When I came home, I checked it. I pushed it, and the shower head worked again. My wife hadn't touched the shower head.

We have a pergola in the backyard with solar lights hanging underneath. A few nights ago, my wife let the dogs out and asked me if I had turned the lights off. I told her I hadn't and slipped on some shoes to check it out. Upon inspection, I found the switch had been turned off. It was not easy to do, especially when we did not do it.

I was recently asked to speak at a local Kiwanis gathering about paranormal experiences. Before I left, I took out a REM POD to ensure it worked correctly to show my audience. It started going off and indicated the temperature near the pod was dropping. I asked a few questions and received a few indications of answers through the flashing lights, but I still needed to find a definitive answer. Check back in a few weeks; I might have other stories about this. Interesting, to say the least!
